Reporting to the Vice President, Chief Learning and Talent Development Officer, the Director of Experience Insights and Design leads the team responsible for the research, design and analytics used to improve the patient, family and staff experience at Seattle Children’s. This role advises and collaborates with physician and administrative executive leadership, patient and family advisors, and Experience division colleagues to assess results, define goals and recommend strategies to make meaningful and measurable improvements.
This position sits within the People and Culture division – driving Experience work through our high-performing, values-based culture by living our values, cultivating team engagement and improving local and organizational results to better care for patients, families and staff. This leader will supervise a team of researchers, designers and program managers to improve and deliver an overall experience analytics strategy that helps leaders and teams understand their experience data and create action plans to address gaps.
Collaborating closely with patient and family advisors, experience specialists, designers, product managers, data scientists and operations team members, this leader will communicate research and analytics insights and recommendations to diverse stakeholders in creative, compelling ways tailored for organizational impact. This leader relentlessly looks to improve processes and tools used for research, data, insights and reporting and feels comfortable collaborating across departments and influencing senior leaders to develop and evolve a compelling and differentiated customer experience.
