The Climate Action Lab, powered by Let’s Talk Science, is gearing up to create ways for high school students across Canada to participate in climate action. But we’re adults, we need to know first hand from young people about how you feel about the changing climate and how they want to be involved in climate action. This is where you come in...

Contribute new knowledge to the most pressing issue of our time, mentor youth, uncover how youth can influence change, see the world with new eyes!

We’re hiring 16 university student coaches to lead 100 youth researchers to help us really understand what’s going on from their perspective.

To participate you are:

• Enrolled in a post-secondary institution in Canada (not in your first year, experienced conducting ethnographic research)

• Able to work online 6 hours a week during February, March & April 2022

• Naturally curious, enjoy talking to people, have a knack for deep listening and making sense of what you heard, confident teaching/ coaching

In return for your work you will receive:

• $22 per hour (80 hours), $1,760 total (when you complete the 80 hour commitment)

• Develop your teaching, coaching, research & analytical skills

• Help turning this work experience into future possibilities (work/ school)

• Letter of recommendation

• Meet other people around the country, including professionals working in climate change
