Ipsos’ Ethnography Center of Excellence (ECE) is an award-winning team of anthropologists, video ethnographers, sociologists, behavioral scientists, market researchers, and documentary filmmakers dedicated to the observation and understanding of consumer behavior. We examine the tensions between what people say and what they do, as well as the emotions, relationships, cultural norms, and environments that shape their beliefs and behaviors. www.ipsos-ece.com
The ECE US is looking for contractors (all US locations welcome) who can take on the unique responsibility of making video ethnography-based market research, analysis, and insights come to life. These positions require those who not only excel at confidently constructing analytical, actionable, compelling stories from raw footage, but who can also serve as a valued part of our analysis team throughout the editing and reporting process. While our key needs are video ethnographers and video editors, we would also love to hear from potential analysts and project leads – especially those with production coordination and/or project management experience.
FT positions are not currently available, but may be possible in the future.
To apply, please send a copy of your CV and links to examples of your work, especially any ethnographic research you are able to share, to April.Jeffries@ipsos.com.
