Advancing the Value of Ethnography

Career Pivots: Strategy & Foresight Consulting

Career Pivot sessions help us open doors to new roles and domains in which ethnographers thrive. In this session, learn about strategy and foresight consulting with two leading EPIC Members in the field.

Rebekah Park is a Partner at Gemic, where she co-leads the Tech and Health practices. Over two decades she has worked across business, academia, and NGOs, including ReD Associates, Marlboro College, Poverty and Race Research Action Council, and African American Policy Forum. Her background in anthropology, race studies, and ethics enables her to work across global contexts and different topical areas around what it means to be human and how tech continuously changes how we live today.

Rich Radka is Founder of Fuse Foresight. Previously leadership roles have included Founder of Claro Partners, Partner at NEST, and Director of User Experience at Sapient. For more than 20 years Rich has provided deep human insights to corporate, scale-up and public sector clients to feed innovation, customer experience development and critical business decisions. He brings inspired design thinking, and a practical human-centred approach to co-create solutions that involve customers, employees, partners and other stakeholders. His current areas of focus are enabling organizational change, delivering strategic foresight, and empowering individuals to gain greater agency and satisfaction in how they make their livings.
